Absolute Completion Technologies Ltd. (“ACT”) is a Canadian based engineering, design and manufacturing company focused on the development, analysis, design and construction of down hole sand control and flow control technologies. ACT is a private company owned by the engineers, technologists and other specialists that work in the company, and deploy our technologies around the world every day. ACT was first formed in 2002 as Absolute Energy Solutions, and as Absolute we have been engaged since that time in providing a number of products and services internationally to the Oil and Gas Industry. Sand control has always been an integral part of our product offering, and the technologies and solutions that ACT has developed and commercialized are inventive and unique. More importantly – they work! ACT was created in late 2007 when Absolute entered into an arrangement with Schlumberger, the world's largest oil field service company. Our goal is to effectively commercialize ACT’s sand control technologies, broadening both technical and market application. Schlumberger has a minority interest position in ACT and exclusive distribution rights to these sand control products.

Since 2002, Absolute, has essentially doubled its production of sand control products annually, achieving cumulative screen sales of over 600,000 ft. It has sold into more than 24 countries worldwide and has international offices in Singapore, South America and China. ACT owns or has the exclusive rights to the Intellectual Property of several proven and promising sand control technologies which differentiate ACT from its competitors and offer very unique and effective solutions to its customers.

ACT's expertise in sand control derives from our understanding of hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs, sand analysis, well completion and production practices and fluid characteristics. ACT develops analytical techniques, simulations, studies and test procedures to expand its understanding of this very specialized field and continually improve its products and their application. To be most effective, ACT seeks to work closely with the customer to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific environment and challenges so that it can design an optimal solution.

OUR PRODUCTS

ACT has a number of competitive and proprietary products all of which are distributed through Schlumberger world-wide. An important part of the technology selection process is a thorough understanding of the specific application. This usually includes an analysis of the particulate size called a particle size distribution or PSD and may also include reservoir studies, and a review of well completion and production methodology.
